Where we build
Custom pools in New Braunfels.
New Braunfels is home base for Draco. We are a custom inground pool builder, and every pool we build is gunite.
Home base
Draco is based in New Braunfels. We design and build custom gunite pools here, and drive out from here to every other town we serve.
Being local makes the first step easy: a free consultation at your home, where we walk the yard and talk through what you want.
Where the Hill Country starts
New Braunfels sits on the Balcones Fault, where the Hill Country meets rolling prairie. The city spans two counties, Comal and Guadalupe. Springs in town feed the Comal River, which runs into the Guadalupe.
That line runs through backyards, too. Depending on where your lot sits, a dig can mean cutting into rock on a slope or building on flatter prairie ground. We plan each pool for the ground it sits on.
Permits, HOAs and drought rules
We handle the permits and HOA approval for your build.
New Braunfels also ties pool building to its drought stages. In April 2023 the city changed its rules so a new pool can be finished and filled during stage three drought. Deeper stages can still hold up permits, so the current stage is part of planning a build here.
