Meet Halston and Scott.

The founding partners

Halston Draeger and Scott Coy started Draco Outdoor Living, and they run every project themselves.

You won't be passed from a salesperson to a stranger on a crew. Halston and Scott are your point of contact from the first call to the finished backyard. Between them, they have put 35+ years into the industry.

Our reviewers notice. In one owner's words: “Halston and Scott did a great job of communicating during the entire process.”

How a project goes

1. A first conversation. Call or send the form, and tell us what you have in mind.
2. A walk around your property. Halston and Scott come out, look at the slope, the trees and the view, and talk through ideas with you. This visit is free.
3. A design and a plan. Built for your lot, often shown as a 3D model. A detailed estimate follows, usually within a week.
4. Construction. We handle the permits and HOA approval. Halston and Scott oversee each stage: dig, steel, gunite, tile, stone and deck.
5. Completion. Water in, equipment on, and the backyard is yours.

What we build

We are a pool builder. Every project starts with a custom gunite pool. Kitchens, patio covers and turf come in only as part of a pool build, so the whole backyard is planned and built as one job.
